Forwards Marian Hossa (lower body) and Viktor Stalberg (head) skated Sunday morning but Patrick Kane (left ankle) did not, coach Joel Quenneville said prior to the Chicago Blackhawks hosting the Los Angeles Kings.
It was the first time Stalbergs skated since he was boarded by Colorados Ryan OByrne on Wednesday night. Quenneville said Hossa and Stalberg could potentially return Wednesday against the Nashville Predators.
Kane, however, probably wont return before Christmas. The right wing was unable to finish his last two practices, including Saturday when he may have tweaked that ankle.
The last couple times he was on the ice, he didnt get through practice so well give him a little time here, Quenneville said. (Returning after Christmas) could be the mindset. But if hes ready to play well play him.
