After winning four in a row at home, the Blackhawks will hit the road, where they will play three of their next four games, beginning in Washington on Friday night.

The Capitals are on a lengthy winning streak of their own, having won seven straight. Both teams sit at 59 points in the standings, with Washington one point back from the No. 1 seed in the East while the Blackhawks own the No. 1 seed in the West.

But the most important and anticipated matchup of the weekend will be when the Blackhawks welcome the Minnesota Wild to town Sunday evening.

As of Thursday, the Blackhawks lead the Wild by four points, but Minnesota has five games in hand, meaning it controls its own destiny.
