VANCOUVER – Tyler Motte will play, as will Vinnie Hinostroza and Michal Rozsival, when the Blackhawks face the Vancouver Canucks tonight.
Of the three Motte is the biggest surprise with his early return to the lineup. But Motte has progressed quickly off his lower-body injury and is ready to go.
“We had good reports right off the hope he handled treatment well,” coach Joel Quenneville said. “Getting on the ice right away it felt well. He worked hard, as did the staff, getting him ready.”
Hinostroza was cleared off his concussion on Friday but, since he was on bed rest the previous two days, he was kept out of the lineup against the Calgary Flames.

Scott Darling will start in net. As for who Motte, Hinostroza and Rozsival replace is uncertain. Quenneville wouldn’t divulge when asked.
Ryan Hartman, who scored his third goal of the season, finished on the Blackhawks’ top line with Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane on Friday. But will he start there tonight? It sounds like there will be a change again on the top line, but it may not be Hartman.
