Kane's point total increased to 82 on the season, which is now six away from tying his career-high (88) set in 2009-2010.

And to show their appreciate for a memorable night (and season so far for Kane), a sold-out United Center crowd serenaded the Blackhawks winger with "MVP" chants during his postgame interview with CSN's Luke Stuckmeyer.

"That's cool, that's awesome," Kane said. "Love the support, it's awesome. I love being here in Chicago, I love the support from you guys, so thank you very much."
