WATCH: Joel Quenneville storms out of press conference

For the second time in the past week, the Blackhawks had a questionable goal taken away from them. Only this time, it came back to haunt them.

After Brandon Mashinter appeared to have scored the first goal of the game against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, officials waved it off due to goaltender interference by Dennis Rasmussen following a coach's challenge. A similar instance happened last Thursday against the Arizona Coyotes, but the Blackhawks overcame that to capture a 5-4 victory in overtime.

They weren't so lucky the second time, getting shut out by the Sharks 2-0 in their first home game since Jan. 24.

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was visibly upset with the ruling, and stormed out of his postgame press conference after answering just one question.

“It’s gone to a different level," Quenneville said. "I don’t know the rules anymore or something’s changed because my understanding, played a lot of hockey, that, I don’t know. I think everybody has an interpretation of what’s a good goal and what’s a bad goal, but I can’t believe it.”
