Animal Planet creates unbelievable fish tank for Bulls' Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler has wide music tastes and apparently is a fish lover, but intertwining the two worlds can be a bit difficult if you don’t have the means.

But the 6,000-pound boombox-shaped fish tank that’s in his newly-purchased home shows anything is possible when you have imagination and a max contract, as it was set up by Wayde King and Brett Raymer, stars of the Animal Planet show “Tanked”.

At first, Butler was a bit ambiguous about his appearance on the show but relented and joked around after Bulls practice.

“We got a few fishes in there, nothing you can't have in your house,” Butler said.

Apparently the tank holds more than 600 gallons and 50 fish, according to the Chicago Tribune, and the boombox plays music to Butler’s liking—although nobody has asked the fish what their musical preferences are.

“The Weeknd” was playing in the background of Bulls practice Thursday, which could be a preferred choice of Butler’s at home—but of course he tends to go in other directions.

“No, they need a little country music here and there, make them feel right at home,” Butler said. “If you're gonna be a part of my household, you gotta like country music.”
