They say what goes up on the internet never really comes down, or something like that. And if you're a famous NBA player (or soon-to-be) certain tweets will live on through screen shots that get passed around and around until the end of time.
In case you missed it, new Bulls power forward Bobby Portis, who was drafted by the team on Thursday as the 22nd pick, regretfully dove into the wrath of Chicago fans over a few tweets he sent when he was 16-years-old. But more accurately, he dove into the wrath of all those who passionately dislike the Miami Heat.
In a few now-deleted but salvaged tweets from 2011, Portis ripped on Chicago's most prized possession.

And this one.... the big one that just couldn't get away.

Portis most likely got wind of his tweets circulatiing and quickly issued an apology and cleverly whipped out the rookie card.
Bulls Nation sorry for the tweets I sent 4 years ago. I was a boy then. I'm a man now. And a Bull. DRose, Pau, what kinda donuts yall like?

We dug up a few other words of wit from the 20-year-old from the depths of @BPortistime, including this:
What if Lebron decide to go back to Cleveland and link up with Kyrie and dion waiters? #workkkkkkkkk

As a matter of fact, Portis might be one of Lebron James biggest fans. Portis attended James' Nike Skills Academy for three straight summers from 2012 to 2014, and here's a picture from Bleacher Report to prove it. (One he probably wouldn't mind circulating around.)
Perhaps we can forgive him after all. He simply loves the King. And if we know anything, we know all good competitors do.

JUST for tweets sake (and because scrolling through Twitter is dangerously addictive), come game time against the Cavaliers, this last one is sure to pop up again:
Im a LEBRON JAMES fan, not a Miami Heat fan...whatever team he go to, is gonna be my team. #judgeme
