Bulls: Why isn't Derrick Rose getting foul calls?

As much as Derrick Rose makes it a habit of attacking the rim, it doesn't appear that NBA referees are ever going to make it a habit of sending him to the charity stripe.

Rose is averaging a career low 2.5 free throw attempts per game this season, and has completed seven games without a single free throw attempt.

During Thursday's victory over the Boston Celtics, Rose drove hard to the basket in the second half and was punished by Celtics defenders. Rose finally had enough and argued the call, but no avail he was hit with a technical foul.

So why isn't Rose getting the calls?

"Give him credit, he's never been a whiner," CSN's David Kaplan said on SportsTalk Live Friday evening. "Unless it's egregious, he'e never been one of those guys that (complains) at officials."
