Deng to play on British Olympic team

Bulls All-Star Luol Deng will be representing Great Britain in this year's Olympic games. He is said to be one of three NBA athletes to head to London to show their patriotism while their country hosts the 2012 events.

Detroit's Ben Gordon and Charlotte's Byron Mullins will be joining Deng as their team searches for a place in the spotlight on their country's home court. The addition of the three NBA players will give London's basketball team more of a fighting chance to more forward in the competition. Although they are not expected to metal, the trio's presence is meant to prove London can compete against other countries and deserves to host the games.
