Honda Road Ahead: No easy road for Bulls in playoffs

CSNChicago.com Bulls Insider Vincent Goodwill and CSN's Chuck Garfien talk about the Bulls' first round matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks in the latest Road Ahead, sponsored by Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Honda Dealers.

Before they completely turn their attention to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Bulls may be trying to figure out whether Derrick Rose's knee soreness that kept him out of the fourth quarter in the regular-season finale will be a concern heading into the playoffs.

Rose iterated he's not worried and is expected to be ready for Game 1 on Saturday, but will it be a lingering issue?

"There is no way to predict anything that's going to happen with Derrick Rose for the postseason," said Goodwill. "I think [the Bulls] are walking into this with a certain amount of, I don't want to say skepticism, but they're aware of the risks going into the postseason."

Another player to monitor is Taj Gibson, who's also dealing with a shoulder injury that could limit him in the postseason. Both players eat up a good chunk of fourth-quarter minutes, and will be relied upon the deeper Chicago goes in the playoffs.

If one thing's for sure, with or without a healthy Rose and Gibson, the Bulls' path to the NBA Finals won't be easy.
