Second round to undrafted
“I'm a fan of basketball. My dad played in the NBA, so I've been around basketball for a long time. I can play more ethan one position. Shooting the ball is a lost art, people are starting to get back to it. So really stretching the floor for anybody and just playing different roles."
Fit for the Bulls:
E'Twaun Moore and Aaron Brooks are both free agents, and Derrick Rose will be a free agent after next season. The point guard position could look much different in Chicago in the coming years, and it makes English an intriguing prospect in the second round. Last year the Bulls' point guards shot less than 36 percent from beyond the arc, an area where English was one of the best in the country. He never competed against high-level competition - though he did score 28 points in Iona's NCAA Tournament loss to Iowa State - and he's already 23, so his ceiling may be a bit limited. Still, if the Bulls want an outside threat at point guard next season English is worth a look.
