As part of our coverage leading up to the 2015 NBA Draft we will provide profiles of more than 60 prospects, including video interviews with each player, what they're saying leading up to draft day as well as their potential fit on the Bulls.

J.P. Tokoto, G, North Carolina

6'6" | 196 lbs. | 21 years old

2014-15 stats:

8.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists 2.0 steals, 42.8 FG%, 29.1 minutes

Projection:

Second round

Quotable:

"I get after it on the defensive end, I create steals, I make it tough on the offensive players. I rebound, offensive and defensive, as you saw today I’ve worked on my jump shot tremendously to the 3-point line, the two-dribble pull-up – I’ve always been comfortable there – but just confidence for me, knowing I belong, knowing I could hit a jump shot, knowing I should take a shot."

Fit for the Bulls:

The Bulls don't have a second-round pick, and Tokoto isn't a first-round prospect. If they are able to move back into the second round, Tokoto would make an interesting prospect as a replacement for Kirk Hinrich. Tokoto is going to make his mark at the next level defensively; at 6-foot-6 he's long enough to defend both wing positions, and he also has the quickness to defend point guards. He'll need to improve his offensive game - specifically his jump shot - to have a shot at sticking, but his rare athleticism and length could make him a quality rotation player in the NBA.
