Kevon Looney, F, UCLA
6'9" | 222 lbs. | 19 years old
11.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 47.0 FG%, 30.9 minutes
First round, 30th overall by the Golden State Warriors
"Rebounding’s something I’ve always been good at. The size really didn’t bother me. I always seemed to find a way to get the ball. I have a knack for getting the ball. It comes naturally to me so that’s something I take pride in. I think I’ll be able to do it on the next level. I don’t know if I’ll do it at the same level I did at UCLA right away but I think over time I’ll definitely be one of the best rebounders."
If there's one area the Warriors can improve on, it's on the defensive glass. Looney won't do much offensively to start (he doesn't need to) so if he can scrap together some rebounds and work on his offensive game he could be a steal in Oakland.
