As part of our coverage leading up to the 2016 NBA Draft we will provide profiles of more than 50 prospects, including video interviews with each player, what they're saying leading up to draft day as well as their potential fit with the Bulls.

Ron Baker, SG, Wichita State

6'4" | 220 lbs. | 23 years old

2015-16 stats:

14.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 steals, 31.6 minutes

Projection:

Second round to undrafted

Quotable:

"Every since I left high school a lot of people assumed I wouldn't be able to play Division I basketball, so making this transition to the NBA is kind of the same a little bit. Hopefully I can surprise a couple people that are doubting me but I know there's a lot of people that really like how I carry myself."

Fit for the Bulls:

Baker is one of the most accomplished college players in this year's draft, but that doesn't exactly make him an enticing NBA prospect. His ability to shoot from the outside may get him a look at the next level, but he doesn't have great size or speed and doesn't create much on his own. He said at last month's Combine he wants to be a scrappy, Matthew Dellavedova-type player who makes the 50/50 plays. The Bulls could conceivably give Baker a look if (or when) he isn't drafted. But chances are he simply remains a great college story.
