Report: Asik agrees to offer sheet with Rockets

The first big domino of the offseason for the Bulls has fallen. According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Omer Asik has agreed to a three-year, 25 million offer sheet from the Houston Rockets.

Rockets will sign Omer Asik to 3-year, 25 million deal on July 11. Bulls will have 3 days to match. 3rd year approaches 15 million. K.C Johnson (@KCJHoop) July 1, 2012With Asik being a restricted free agent, the Bulls will have three days to match the offer sheet starting on July 11.

In his second season with the Bulls, the 25-year-old center averaged 3.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1 block in 66 games.
