After missing five consecutive games with lower back spasms, Derrick Rose returned to the lineup for the Bulls game Monday afternoon against the Hawks at the United Center

He went through practice Sunday and he didnt have any problems, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game. Hes been cleared by Bulls trainer Fred Tedeschi.

Meanwhile, Roses backup, C.J. Watson, missed Mondays game after getting hit in the head by New Jerseys Deron Williams during Saturdays loss to the Nets.

I want to play but I cant because of the rules on concussions, Watson told CSNChicago.com Ill have more tests Tuesday, go through practice and then go from there.

I felt a little bit foggy, a little spaced out, he continued, when asked how he felt following Saturdays game. I was getting headaches and stuff like that, but I feel a lot better.

Added Thibodeau: He got hit in the head, so its more precautionary.
