Michael Jordan Estate in Florida revealed
Michael Jordan is building a 28,000-square-foot mega-mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., and for the first time pictures and details have been released.
The house contains 11 bedrooms and sits on a three-parcel site right in the backyard of one of Jupiter Island's gold courses - the exclusive, Jack Nicklaus-designed, Bear's Club. The house includes four separate structures - a main house, guard house, guest house and a poolhouse.
"This is probably the largest, most expensive home that is not on the water, definitely in Palm Beach and possibly in all of Florida," real estate agent Jeff Lichtenstein of Christie's Great Estates and Illustrated Properties says of Jordan's estate.
Jordan paid 4.8 million for the land and is spending an estimated 7.6 million for the construction. By the time he's done completing it with furnishings, it's estimated he will spend about 20 million. (housingwatch.com)
