If true, Chicago native Big Cat and PFT Commenter have scooped the sports world in what would make the long-running show a must-watch for Cubs fans.
According to People, the season 24 cast will be released in its entirety Wednesday morning, though reports indicate celebrities such as Nick Viall ("The Bachelor") and Olympian Simone Biles are among the contestants.
Season 24 of "Dancing with the Stars" is set to premiere on ABC March 20, the day after Ross's 40th birthday. There was even a Facebook page trying to get Ross on the hit show, though it only currently has three "likes."
Grandpa Rossy's popularity has swept across the nation over the last year as he has emerged as a fan favorite while helping to change the culture inside the Cubs clubhouse and playing an integral role behind the scenes of the team that finally shed the "Lovable Loser" label. As he embarked on his yearlong retirement tour, the backup catcher also became the oldest player in baseball history to homer in a Game 7 and was carried off the field by his teammates in "Rudy" fasion.
