When I took this picture on opening day, I figured it would be the last for both Bobby Cox and Lou Piniella.

Sunday, fate found a way to bring the good friends back together for Lou's final game in baseball.

Amazingly, the Cubs lost both games 16-5....talk about full circle. Cox is surely headed to the Hall of Fame and Lou should be too.

After a great playing career, Piniella won Manager of the Year 3 times in 23 seasons. He leaves as the first Cubs manager to finish above .500 in his first 3 seasons on the Northside, in 70 years.

He is 14th on the all-time wins list. He has 3 World Series rings. To hear his emotional goodbye...click on the video player.
