The Cubs hit the road for seven games starting at Citi Field in New York. This place is really nice inside, but outside its surrounded by junkyards! Instead of taking a cab back to the hotel...I'm strongly considering the "build a ride" program at Tony's Scrap Yard.

Speaking of building things...Lou is trying some new parts to this struggling offense. Marlon Bryd leading off, Baker batting second and Nady cleanup versus lefties. It's not set in stone, but "it's worth trying."

Meanwhile I'm building abs of steel. Chicken cutlet sammich and a slice of over-rated pizza. 18 bucks. Good thing I saved 10 bucks on that muffler on the way in.
