CSN will have complete Cubs coverage leading up to wild-card game

Comcast SportsNet will provide fans with a full lineup of extensive Cubs programming beginning Monday in advance of the North Siders’ National League wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night.

In addition to brand-new season-recap and playoff-preview specials, a “Cubs Classic” telecast of a game against the Pirates from earlier this season and extensive nightly coverage on SportsTalk Live and SportsNet Central, CSN will also air a special edition of Cubs Pregame Live at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and a special, expanded edition of Cubs Postgame Live immediately following the wild-card matchup.

The unexpected, however, took place in the bottom of the 12th inning when Pirates right fielder Gregory Polanco slipped on a routine pop fly, allowing Starlin Castro to score the winning run.
