Who knows if Matt Garza andor Carlos Zambrano will be unpacking their stuff in the clubhouse? There will be more new faces. You figure that Theo Epstein and his staff still have a few more moves left in them this winter.
The Cubs are gearing up for spring training. Pitchers and catchers will report on Feb. 18, with their first official workout the following day at Fitch Park in Mesa, Ariz.
The full squad reports by Feb. 23. New manager Dale Sveum will oversee the teams first full-squad workout on Feb. 24.
The Cubs will play their first Cactus League game on March 4 against the Oakland As. The organization expects to hold two more training camps in their current facilities before moving into a new Mesa complex for 2014.

The changing of the guard continues for the Cubs this offseason.
After the team hired a new hitting coach yesterday, it was reported today that they're losing a front office member:
Rehman, who has been with the Cubs in the same position for the last seven years, will reportedly head up the Rangers' analytics department. According to the Chicago Tribune, Rehman's role was " evaluating existing systems, and recognizing and applying solutions in an effort to create competitive advantages for the organization."
All reports indicate that he'll be doing similar analytic-based work with the Rangers.
