Cubs minor leaguer has no chill in pursuit of Ronda Rousey

The thirst is real for Anthony Giansanti.

The Cubs minor leaguer is putting on a full court press in an effort to court UFC Champion Ronda Rousey.

Giansanti leaves a ticket for Rousey at every game, adding her to his player's pass list (h/t SI Extra Mustard):

 

 

 

 

 

This all started as a joke amongst the Triple-A Cubs, but Giansanti posted to social media at the urging of his teammates.

"I had no expectations going into this," Giansanti told Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register. "It honestly just started off as a funny joke that's morphed itself into something funny and entertaining."

Giansanti is even trying to get Rousey to be his date to former teammate Dustin Geiger's wedding this fall:
