Joe Maddon agrees to exclusive multi-year deal with Winnebago
Maddon loved everything about the RV. "I really like the style outside a lot. It's not the typical brown, earthy tones and squiggly lines. I dig chrome. I don't like it on my middle infielders, but I love it on my vehicles."
The 45-foot Winnebago Grand Tour includes a 450-hpo turbo charged diesel engine, heated floors, stainless steel appliances, a fireplace, a king-sized bed, four television screens and much more.
"What I love about Winnebago is that it is this great, iconic RV brand, but also forward thinking," Maddon said. "Winnebago gets us and our lifestyle - it's our home."
Right now the focus is on getting back to the World Series and winning it again," Maddon said, "and then driving that out of Chicago right around November 1st. That's the game plan as of right now."
