The Cubs' loss to the Reds on Thursday was more than just points in a tight divisional race.
Not only did the Cubs lose a game in which they stormed back to erase a nine-run deficit, they also lost their ace.
Jon Lester was removed from the game in the second inning with left lat tightness. An update on his injury should come Friday morning.
When Lester went to the Cubs dugout after exiting, he appeared to have a controntation with pitching coach Chris Bosio.
