Looking for a way to have some fun before a big U.S. National Team match?

The Chicago Fire are hosting Fire Brews and Bites, an event combining beer, soccer and food, on Saturday, June 11. The event takes place from 1-4 p.m., just a couple hours before the U.S. Men's National Team kicks off against Paraguay in a Copa America Centenario group match in Philadelphia at 6 p.m.

More than a dozen breweries will have beers available for tasting. Goose Island, Lagunitas, Magic Hat, Kona Brewing and Half Acre are among the breweries that will be represented.

The event will take place at the Heinekun Pub97, which is a part of the PrivateBank Fire Pitch facility on 3626 N. Talman Ave. in Chicago. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation.

Tickets, which include beer tasting, food and a gift item, are $40. Click here for more info on the event.
