Harrison is a native of Bolton, England, and became a high school standout after coming over to the U.S. Harrison was named Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2015 while attending Berkshire School in Massachusetts.

In one year at Wake Forest, Harrison racked up eight goals and 11 assists. He was named both ACC Freshman of the Year and ACC Offensive Player of the Year.

On the MLS SuperDraft stream Taylor Twellman called him "the best attacking player in the draft."

"I know it sounds corny, but I'd just like to say that they say America is the land of opportunity and for me it has been nothing but that," Harrison said upon stepping up to the podium at the draft in Baltimore.

Harrison was a former Manchester United academy player.
