Rick Hahn on White Sox facing Chris Sale: ‘I hope we light him up'

Chris Sale pitched seven years on the South Side before Rick Hahn & Co. made a major decision to change the White Sox direction.

Beginning the White Sox rebuild officially started when Hahn traded Sale to the Boston Red Sox this past offseason.

On Tuesday, the 28-year-old southpaw will be pitching in Chicago against his former team for the first time since being dealt, and the White Sox general manager wouldn't mind seeing him have an...off night.

"It's going to be weird seeing Chris out there," Hahn told Mully and Hanley on Tuesday. "The times I've seen him pitch in a Red Sox uniform, it's still fun to watch him pitch, but obviously I hope we light him up tonight."

Hahn even went on to say that some members of the front office joked about having the White Sox wear their throwback jerseys. Hear what else Hahn had to say right here.

A reminder that you can watch Sale square off against Jose Quintana tonight on CSN and live streaming on the NBC Sports app.
