MLB's non-waiver trade deadline may be over, but the White Sox still found a way to add more talent to their farm system on Friday.

The White Sox acquired minor-league pitcher Ryan Burr from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for international signing bonus pool money.

This marks the second time this season that the White Sox have used an international signing slot to acquire a prospect as they traded for Texas Rangers minor-league shortstop Yeyson Yrizarri last month.

Burr, 23, has a 2-2 record with a 1.89 ERA and 1.11 WHIP across 39 appearances between Class-A Kane County and Class-A Visalia in 2017. Burr has held opposing hitters to a .210 batting average and has 75 strikeouts in 57 innings this season.

Burr was originally selected by the Diamondbacks in the fifth round of the 2015 MLB Draft out Arizona State University. Burr left the Sun Devils as the school's all-time saves leader, per Eric Longenhagen of FanGraphs.

Burr has a career record of 7-4 with a 1.97 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in three minor-league seasons in the Diamondbacks organization.
