White Sox RF Adam Eaton edged by Mookie Betts for Gold Glove Award

Adam Eaton was edged out by Boston's Mookie Betts for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award for right fielders in the American League.

Eaton was second in Defensive Run Saved with 22, according to fangraphs.com, behind Betts, who had 32 DRS. Betts, 24, is the youngest Red Sox to win the award since 1975.

Eaton also led all outfielders with 18 assists and had an Ultimate Zone Rating of 23.

Eaton was a finalist in 2014 at center field, but Orioles' Adam Jones took home the award.
