Cubs morning roundup - Tuesday

Cubs morning roundup - Tuesday

As the Cubs get set for a three-game set with the Miami (formerly Florida) Marlins, Patrick Mooney takes a look at the team's approach and personality under first-year manager Dale Sveum. WhiteSoxTalk's JJ Stankevitz and I released our MLB Power Rankings for Week 2. The Rangers and Cardinals were unanimous choices for the first two spots, begging the question: Should we just replay the 2011 World Series?

We're 10 games into the 2012 season, so we took a look at how the offense has fared so far. The starting rotation has been very good, but the Cubs are looking for more out of the back end of Chris Volstad and Paul Maholm.

Renovations on Wrigley Field has been a hot topic over the past few months and it was discussed again on CTL Monday. David Kaplan and his guests debated whether the Cubs should move a field to the suburbs or not.
