The injury bug hit the Cubs bullpen once again on Wednesday. The team placed right-hander Lendy Castillo on the 15-day disabled list due to a left groin strain. In his place, the Cubs recalled left-hander Scott Maine from Triple-A Iowa.
Castillo pitched in seven games with the Cubs this season, compiling an 0-1 record with a 7.04 ERA.
This will be Maine's second stint with the Cubs this season. In five games from April 20-May 3, he was 0-1 with a 1.59 ERA. In his career, the 27-year-old has appeared in 25 games, with an 0-1 record and 4.21 ERA.

Also, infielder Blake DeWitt cleared waivers and was outright to Triple-A Iowa.
