The Cubs placed catcher Wellington Castillo on the 15-day disabled list with an MCL sprain in his right knee and recalled left-hander Travis Wood from Triple-A Iowa.
Wood, who will begin his second stint with the Cubs this season, will make the start tonight against the Astros.
Castillo is batting .185 with a pair of doubles, one home run and four RBI in seven games for the Cubs this season.

Castillo will be the third Cubs catcher currently on the DL with Geovany Soto and Steve Clevenger also on the shelf.
