The 1998 season was a momentous campaign for Sammy Sosa. The Cubs slugger smacked a career-high 66 home runs, including 20 in the month of June alone.

Although Sosa didn't win the home run crown that season, he became the fourth player to ever eclipse the 60-mark, following Babe Ruth, Roger Maris and Mark McGwire — who also did in 1998.
