Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo injured his ankle Sunday in the series finale against the Pirates, but he is certainly trying to make the most of the terribly timed injury.
Since he is unable to put any weight on his right ankle, Rizzo has been seen using a scooter to get around.
You can check out Rizzo’s new ride below.

But, folks, this isn’t just any old scooter. Rizzo is riding in style with purple and white shiny tassels on his handlebars, a flower basket attached to the front which our insider Tony Andracki says holds snacks.
Rizzo's scooter now has a bicycle horn and a flowery basket filled with snacks.

I think it's safe to say his spirits are high...
Rizzo continues to be one of the most relatable guys at Wrigley.
The results of Rizzo’s MRI concluded the lateral sprain to Rizzo's right ankle will keep him in a boot for the next week. The Cubs and Rizzo will then determine how much movement and play the ankle can handle going forward.
Definitely not ideal as the Cubs try to scrape their way into the playoffs over the new two weeks, but it's nice to know to Rizzo seems to be in good spirits.
But until the boot is off, we can all enjoy Rizzo’s sick new set of wheels.
