How Cooperstown commemorated Mills' no-hitter

Share

Cubs starter Alec Mills threw a no-hitter last month and his performance has since been commemorated in Cooperstown.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum obtained the hat Mills wore during his no-no against the Brewers on Sept. 13, along with a ball from the game.

Jon Shestakofsky, the Hall of Fame's vice president of communications and education, thanked Mills and the Cubs for the donation on Twitter.

Mills threw just the 16th no-hitter in Cubs history, so it's only right the outing will be remembered among the game's other memorable achievements.
