Romine hits game-tying home run off Kimbrel

Craig Kimbrel allowed one run in 20 appearances with the Cubs at Wrigley Field this season.

That number tripled in his first appearance at the Friendly Confines with the White Sox.

Kimbrel returned to Wrigley for the first time since the Cubs traded him to the Sox last Friday and gave up a game-tying three-run home run in the eighth inning.

Andrew Romine hit the blast, the infielder's first home run since July 14, 2017.

Kimbrel hadn't allowed an earned run since May 15 before that home run. The Cubs tagged him for four hits, with Matt Duffy, Frank Schwindel and Robinson Chirinos all adding singles.
