Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is practicing extra in-game precaution during the MLB season played amid COVID-19.

After Orlando Arcia reached base on a single Friday, Rizzo pulled hand sanitizer out of his back pocket and gave some to the Brewers shortstop.

After the game, Rizzo said he came up with the idea while joking around with friends, forgot about it and remembered it recently. He said the Cubs have a lot of respect for Milwaukee but he wants to keep things loose due to the unique circumstances of the season.

"They’re a good club and they bring a lot of energy too, so just one of those things that [I'm] surprised the cameras got it," he said.

MLB has numerous safety precautions in place this season, but you can't be too safe, right?
