Cubs fans on Twitter really didn't like Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire documentary

Soooooo, Cubs fans on Twitter did NOT like “Long Gone Summer.

Sure, some people liked ESPN’s latest 30 for 30

But most tweets looked like this:

A lot of that hate had to do with the fact that Sosa felt like a side note in Mark McGwire’s story

There was some confusion about the anachronistic B-Roll throughout the documentary too.

At one point there was a shot of the Wrigley stands that was clearly taken from one of the past few seasons, as the new video boards are visible. Other times there are fans in the stands wearing Kris Bryant and Ben Zobrist jerseys.

At another point a shot of the Music Box Theater-- just a few blocks away from Wrigley-- has “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” displayed on the marquee… Quentin Tarantino’s movie from 2019.

At least the after-show interview on Sportscenter was good?
