Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward plans to donate $200K to COVID-19 relief in Chicago, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.
$100K will go to MASK — Mothers Against Senseless Killings — and the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The former is collecting both food and supplies for families affected by the coronavirus.
Heyward was candid about the pandemic last week, and his forthcoming donations are yet another example of the class act the 30-year-old is.
