The Cubs' season came to an early end on Friday, a 2-0 loss to the Marlins in the NL Wild Card Series. Players will spend the next few days cleaning out their lockers, during which they can donate to a great cause.

Cubs players are donating gently used equipment and supplies to the Players Alliance's "Gear for Good" drive. Check it out:

According to the Players Alliance, Gear for Good is "is a national player-led equipment drive and implementation program where players will work with their respective corporate partners, teams, teammates and fans to collect gently used baseball equipment and have it cleaned, packaged, and delivered to Black communities across the United States."

Cubs' Cameron Maybin, Jason Heyward, Billy Hamilton and Jeremy Jeffress, and prospect Ed Howard are each part of the Players Alliance.
