Take a look inside Cubs dugout as rotation gets mic'd up

With the 2020 baseball season being played amid COVID-19, teams, including the Cubs, have built extended dugouts at their fan-less ballparks for added social distance.

Cubs starting pitchers Alec Mills, Tyler Chatwood, José Quintana, Kyle Hendricks and Yu Darvish, along with mental skills coach John Baker, took in Adbert Alzolay's season debut from the extended dugout, located down the third base line.

Alzolay spun five innings of one-run ball in Game 2 of a doubleheader with St. Louis on Aug. 19 (Cubs won 4-2). The fine folks at Cubs YouTube filmed and mic'd up the group as they cheered him and the Cubs on.

The Cubs have notoriously had one of the louder dugouts this season, cheering each other on to provide their own energy. This video offers a perfect demonstration of that.
