Happ joins Fowler in exclusive Cubs company with home run

The Cubs lost Game 1 of their NL Wild Card Series against the Marlins on Wednesday, but Ian Happ put himself into exclusive company.

Happ hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, giving the Cubs an early lead. Not only was it his first career postseason home run, but he became just the second Cubs switch-hitter ever to go deep in the playoffs.

The other Cub to do so? Former center fielder Dexter Fowler, who hit five in the 2015 and '16 playoffs. You may recall he hit a leadoff home run in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, a pretty significant game for the Cubs.

Happ's home run didn't lead to a Cubs win like Fowler's, but this is a cool note, nonetheless.
