Update (4 p.m.):

Ian Happ's cinderella run in the MLB The Show Players League will continue.

Happ, who won 10 of his final 11 games to advance to the video game league's postseason, took down Rangers slugger Joey Gallo in the quarterfinals Saturday. Happ, the No. 7 seed, won the three-game series 2-1, beating Gallo (the No. 2 seed) by scores of 4-3 and 7-0.

Game 2 ended in dramatic fashion, as Happ hit a walk-off three-run homer with catcher Willson Contreras to force a do-or-die Game 3.

With the quarterfinals win, Happ advances to take on White Sox starter Lucas Giolito in the playoff semifinals, airing Saturday at 4 p.m. on ESPN2. More on that below.
