Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo was mic'd up on Saturday's broadcast against the White Sox and came out with a heavy-hitting life reminder for his teammates and fans watching at home.

During a mound visit, Rizzo asked teammates, including Jason Kipnis and Javy Báez, a philosophical question about work ethic.

"You work hard, you get no results," Rizzo said. "You don't work hard, you get no results. What do you do?"

Kipnis answered "you work hard," obviously the correct answer, to which Rizzo nodded his head in approval.

You heard them, folks. Always work hard, even when the results may not be there right away.
