MLB Power Rankings 2021: Standings at the break

We've reached the (symbolic) halfway point of the 2021 MLB season and the most surprising team in baseball is none other than the San Francisco Giants.

It's only right that they're also No. 1 in our power rankings at the All-Star break.

The Giants entered the season, in the eyes of many, behind the Dodgers and Padres in the NL West picture. But San Francisco has been chugging along, maintaining at least a share of first place since the start of June.

Even as the Giants have kept rolling, the feeling has been that Los Angeles and San Diego would make a run to surpass them at some point. 

That hasn't happened, and while it still could, this is a clear three-team race in baseball's toughest division.
