The St. Louis Cardinals were the first team outside of the MLB East divisions to have a positive COVID-19 test.

And now, more Cardinals players have tested positive, per a report from Craig Mish confirmed by Ken Rosenthal.

The actual number of Cardinals players is undetermined. Mish reports that it’s more than five, while Rosenthal reports it’s four to six additional players.

Either way it’s conerning for MLB. Numerous games have been canceled, the Phillies and Marlins have yet to play after their season opening series.

The Cardinals game against the Brewers on Friday night and Saturday's and was postponed.

The Cardinals are set to play the Cubs in a week, and the White Sox in the series after that.
