When it comes to his portrayal in MLB The Show 20, Cubs outfielder Ian Happ has a fan in Rangers outfielder/first baseman Joey Gallo.

Saturday, Happ and Gallo squared off in the MLB The Show Players League quarterfinals, and Gallo couldn’t get over Happ’s in-game physique.

“Dude are you that yoked in real life?” Gallo asked Happ.

“I am huge. I’m the strongest dude on the field, pound-for-pound,” Happ said.

Virtual Happ stepped up to the plate moments later, hitting a double to the base of the center field wall.

"Look at me go, oh look at you go,” Happ said. “I'm a unit, an absolute unit. "All I do is hit bi’s tri's and bench [in the weight room]."

The back-and-forth continued in Game 2 of the three-game series:

Gallo: "Dude, I can't get over how big your guy is.”

Happ: “Absolutely yoked."

Gallo: "He's like a middle linebacker. Who'd you pay [among the game’s developers] to get your guy like that?"

Happ: "Everyone. 6-foot, 250 and it's all muscle."

Happ and Gallo seem to have good chemistry, so perhaps Happ can bring the Rangers slugger on his podcast, "The Compound," in the near future.
