The Cubs might be following the Bears' lead and playing overseas soon.
Friday morning, the Associated Press reported that two people familiar with the situation say that Major League Baseball is considering the Cubs and Cardinals as one of two matchups for its 2020 series in London.
It'd be the first time the Cubs have played in London, a new milestone for an organization full of them. MLB has ramped up its international reach of late, scheduling series in Mexico, Japan, and Austrailia.
This year, the Athletics and the Mariners are opening the season in Tokyo, while the Red Sox and Yankees will face off in London later in July.
