The White Sox unveiled their new uniforms a few weeks ago, a widely acclaimed all-back look celebrating the South Side. The Cubs unveiled theirs on Tuesday, an all-navy look inspired by Chicago's 77 neighborhoods
And after the Cubs' big reveal, White Sox catcher Yasmani Grandal joined Chicagoans in weighing in on the North Siders' new fit, via a post on Joc Pederson's Instagram.
Grandal and Pederson played together on Dodgers from 2015-18, so it's safe to assume this is playful ribbing from one former teammate to another. But that was cold, nonetheless.
Hopefully we get to see both uniforms on the field at the same time during the Crosstown Classic this summer.
